Reporting To: Lead Chef / General Manager

Hours: Full-time/Part-time (including evenings and weekends)

About the Role: You are essential to every meal we serve. By keeping our kitchen spotless, organized, and running smoothly, you enable our chefs to create the exceptional food experiences our guests love.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep the Kitchen Running: Wash and clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment with speed and care. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas – work surfaces, storage areas, and equipment. Clean and sanitise fryers, grills, ovens, and food prep areas to the highest standards. Support chefs with basic food prep tasks when needed – you’re part of the team.
  • Manage Stock & Supplies: Receive deliveries, check stock levels, and safely store ingredients and supplies. Follow proper stock rotation procedures – first in, first out, always. Keep storage areas organised so everyone can find what they need quickly.
  • Champion Cleanliness: Sweep and mop floors throughout the shift – safety first, always. Remove waste, manage recycling, and dispose of rubbish properly. Maintain overall kitchen cleanliness that makes everyone proud.
  • Uphold Safety Standards: Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures. Keep the work environment clean, safe, and organised at all times. Support the team with any other duties as needed – flexibility is key.
