Work the Bar Like a Pro
- Craft delicious cocktails and drinks to Sea Lanes standards with skill and flair
- Confidently provide drink knowledge and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
- Take bar orders, deliver drinks, and check in with guests throughout their visit
- Carry out ID checks diligently and comply with all legal requirements relating to the service of alcohol
- Support Bar Backs as and when required to keep service flowing
- Ensure all bar stock and glassware are replenished and available at all times
- Coach and encourage junior team members to grow their skills and confidence behind the bar
- Process bar transactions accurately and be accountable for all transactions handled
Keep the Floor Running Smoothly
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming front of house environment at all times
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to keep service flowing throughout the venue
- Support the kitchen team with timely communication and coordination
- Assist with set‑up and breakdown of the venue for daily service and private events
- Ensure all guest‑facing areas are clean, presentable, and stocked
Champion Sales & Service Standards
- Confidently upsell menu items, drinks, specials, and venue experiences
- Process payments accurately using our till and card payment systems – be accountable for every transaction
- Stay knowledgeable about our full menu including allergens, dietary requirements, and drink ingredients
- Support private hire events, promotions, and special occasions with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Provide clear, concise communication to teammates at all times to minimise disruption to guests
Uphold Safety & Standards
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and allergy procedures without exception
- Adhere to responsible service of alcohol guidelines and licensing requirements at all times
- Follow all fire safety and health & safety procedures and report any hazards immediately
- Complete daily opening and closing duties as directed
- Be flexible in covering a range of duties across the venue in line with business needs

- Experience with till and payment systems is a bonus – but we can train you on our systems
