We’re on the lookout for confident customer‑focused paddle board YOGA (SUP Yoga) instructors. You may be passionate about introducing new people to your YOGA sessions or looking to develop further people’s technique. Either way, this role could be perfect for you. Based at our Hillsea site, you’ll be running fun, engaging taster and starter sessions of YOGA paddle boarding to our open water location. We are looking for people with experience of open water paddle YOGA instructing and a passion for health and wellbeing.

What your day will look like:

  • Every day will bring new energy and fresh faces, but your goal stays the same: connect with our customers, ensure safe use of the pool, and create fun and engaging paddle board YOGA sessions.
  • Drive Safety and Customer Satisfaction
    • Ensure classes are safe and inviting for all users through your skills and experience.
    • Encourage repeat visitor usage by providing excellent customer interaction.
    • Engage with all customers wherever they are in their YOGA journey.
    • Create an environment where customers feel comfortable to ask for advice.
  • Be the Voice of South Downs Leisure
    • Deliver a friendly, motivating customer experience and make every conversation count.
    • Explain your classes clearly and confidently so all users feel comfortable and engaged during the YOGA class.
    • Build real relationships that lead to long‑term, happy members.
  • Support the Team and Community
    • Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a smooth customer journey.
    • Share ideas to grow participation and develop the YOGA programme.
    • Be ready to get involved at outreach events and in community networking.

What We’re Looking For

Your Energy

  • Motivated by providing a safe and welcoming environment for all class customers where they can feel comfortable and safe when attending a class.
  • Passionate about health, fitness, and community.

Your Experience

  • YOGA paddle board instructor qualification.
  • Previous open water YOGA instructing.
  • Confident with interacting with customers in both friendly and assertive situations.
  • Health and safety understanding.

Your Approach

  • Welcoming and approachable.
  • Positive, and confident in your abilities.
  • A team player who supports others.
  • Independent and able to stay motivated when working alone.
