Job Title: Indirect Procurement Officer

Salary & Package: £40,000 – £50,000 plus bonus and benefits

Sea Global are proud to be partnering with a global market leading business, that employ thousands across several continents. They have a successful, embedded procurement team that support the business and after a period of expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Officer to join the team, managing mainly indirects, such as FM, Capex, Stationary, M&E and more.

They are ideally looking for an experienced procurement professional, who has experience within some of the categories mentioned and has a proven track record maximising value from third party contracts. The role reports into the Head of Procurement, who is ideally looking for someone to hit the ground running from day one.

Please note, this role will be onsite initially to build relationships, but a hybrid model will be adopted thereafter, will will require 1 day a week in the office (the client is happy to cover costs for travel etc

Role & Responsibilities

  • Source and procure goods and services, ensuring value for money within service and quality standards
  • Adhere to procurement processes, seeking and evaluating competitive tenders, negotiating contracts, and balancing value vs risk
  • Manage supplier relationships and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure collaboration and consistency
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, aligning requirements and promoting Procurement as a strategic partner
  • Maintain and optimise procurement systems to support efficiency and improvement

Experience & Requirements

  • Experience within indirect procurement
  • Proven experience within end-to-end procurement, including contract and supplier management
  • Will be comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • CIPS or degree in a related field would be a nice to have, but not at all essential
