Title: Procurement & Purchasing Manager
Sector: Wholesale
Location: Epping, Essex (onsite 5 days a week)
Salary & Package: £60,000 –£70,000 + Bonus + free lunch and additional benefits
Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a market leading business at the forefront of their industry who are looking for an experienced procurement/purchasing professional to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a senior role with responsiblity for overseeing a small team within a well-established supplier of electrical and mechanical workshop tools and equipment.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the succesful candidate will lead a small team of buyers, managing the sourcing of a wide range of finished goods, primarily from China and the Far East, as well as Europe.
They are ideally looking for someone with a strong background in finished goods imports and a solid understanding of global supply markets who can hit the ground running.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of buyers sourcing finished goods, primarily from China, the Far East, and the EU.
- Oversees selection of new products for both wholesale and retail markets.
- Sets pricing, and ensures full stock availability and a competitive product range.
- Collaborates with buying, test, and marketing teams to launch products on schedule.
- Manages quality control, product evaluations, and warranty report reviews to inform business decisions.
- Sets trade and retail prices based on margin goals and monitors market competitiveness.
Experience & Requirements
- 10+ years of procurement/purchasing experience, with some experience managing a team.
- Proven experience importing finished goods/products from the Far East.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
- Knowledge of key global markets, suppliers, and sourcing processes.
