With continued expansion and an increasing demand for their services, the team is now looking for a Procurement Officer to join their collaborative and forward-thinking function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their procurement foundations and grow within a supportive and well-established team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help deliver new frameworks and contract awards
- General procurement responsibilities including supporting with tenders
- Support the Procurement Manager with new contracts and managing all the day-to-day DPSS
- Supporting the use of the e-sourcing portal and support cases for new contracts
- Develop and nurture relationships with internal colleagues and external clients
Experience & Requirements:
- A background in Procurement or a similar Sourcing/Purchasing/Contracts/Commercial role
- Has some knowledge relating to DPS, e-procurement platforms or frameworks
- Experience working with public sector regulations if a plus
- A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
- Strong work ethic and can manage multiple priorities at once
