Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a globally renowned leader in the FMCG sector, who are currently looking to appoint a Procurement Manager to join their team. They are a global consumer goods company who are transforming their procurement function and have ambitious plans for the future.
The role reports directly into the Global Head of Indirect Procurement and sits within the wider procurement function where you will be responsible for managing the Marketing category. They are looking for someone with industry experience who can hit the ground running from day one. They are looking for someone to come in on a 12-month FTC with the option to go permanent.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies across the Marketing category.
- Responsible for leading end-to-end procurement including Tenders, Negotiation, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management, and Spend Data Analysis.
- Build relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating and ensuring deals align with business activities.
- Oversee Marketing spend, strategic sourcing, and supplier negotiations.
Experience & Requirements
- Strong understanding of procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced market, demonstrating excellent supplier and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the Marketing category with experience across a range of sub categories such as Creative Agencies, Advertising, Trade Marketing, Point of Sale (POS), Brand Strategy, Consumer Insight, Innovation, Digital, Media, Campaigns, PR, Market Research.
- Ideally degree and/or MCIPS qualified (however, this is not at all essential).
