Title : Procurement Manager Sector : Food Manufacturing Location : Sunderland / Hybrid Salary & Package: £40,000 – £50, 000 + benefits Sea Global are currently working with a globally renowned Food Manufacturing business, who are currently in an exciting period of change. With an established procurement function, they are looking to recruit a Procurement Manager focusing on the indirect categories across the business including HR, Marketing, IT, Facilities Management, and Corporate Services. The role will report directly into the Head of Procurement and will have overall category remit across Indirect spend areas. Do you thrive on driving cost savings, managing strategic suppliers, and ensuring the smooth flow of essential resources? Please read on and reach out for more details: Role & Responsibilities Report and work closely with the Head of Procurement and the wider team Make sure indirect spend categories are both compliant and cost-effective End to end procurement, sourcing and supplier relationship management Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best commercial terms and the adherence to conditions where possible Experience & Requirements Ideally will have experience within a similar role across some of the following indirect categories: HR, IT, Marketing, Corporate Services, or Facilities Will need to be analytical, dynamic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Should be comfortable speaking with both suppliers and stakeholders Organised, can keep data accurate and streamline processes
