- Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across a designated category portfolio.
- Design and implement category and sourcing strategies that deliver value, mitigate risk, and support business objectives.
- Manage the procurement of major maintenance and service contracts, including programmes valued in the hundreds of millions of pounds.
- Drive commercial performance through effective supplier engagement, negotiation, demand management, and market analysis.
- Ensure all procurement activity is conducted in line with organisational governance, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Experience & Requirements
- Experience within strategic sourcing and category management, managing complex procurement categories.
- Demonstrable success leading complex, high-value sourcing and tendering programmes.
- Well-developed commercial acumen, including contract management, supplier negotiations, and value delivery.
