Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a leading business who have over 200 stores across the UK and are looking to add a Procurement Manager to support their next stage of growth. The role is a newly created position within the business, so they are looking to recruit an experienced procurement professional, ideally who has experience of working in a fast-paced environment, where there will be an element of creating policies, managing end-to-end procurement projects, analysing spend data and leading negotiations.
As this is a newly created role, the CFO is ideally looking for a hands-on procurement professional who has end-to-end procurement experience and can hit the ground running.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement projects, vendor management, and supplier relationship management
- Create and implement procurement policy and process, in line with company objectives
- Analyse spend data, work closely with finance and other internal teams in order to make improvements and identify areas of savings
- Oversee procurement risk management and lead on commercial negotiations
- Lead RFPs, contract negotiation and work closely with suppliers
Experience & Requirements
- Ideally will have experience working in a similar end-to-end procurement role
- Experience within both commercial negotiations and stakeholder management is essential for this role
- Will have experience working in a complex fast-paced organisation
- Needs to be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels and feel confident negotiating
