Sea Global are currently working on behalf of a global organisation who are looking to recruit an IT Vendor / Supplier Manager to join their busy, growing function. The Supplier Manager is responsible for managing and developing a large, complex supplier and distribution partner landscape across the UK and international markets. This role owns strategic supplier relationships, commercial governance, tendering activity, and performance management, ensuring the right capability, coverage, and commercial outcomes to support business growth. The position combines hands-on commercial ownership with executive-level stakeholder and supplier engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage a high-value supplier portfolio across distribution and global service partners
- Own strategic supplier relationships, acting as the single point of accountability
- Lead major tenders and commercial negotiations to drive value and performance
- Oversee supplier performance management, including KPIs, service levels, and governance
- Identify, onboard, and develop partners to support international delivery requirements
- Partner closely with Sales, Commercial, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams
Experience & Requirements
- Strong commercial background in supplier, partner, or vendor management
- Proven experience leading negotiations, tenders, and commercial governance
- Confidence managing senior and executive-level supplier relationships
- Experience operating within complex, multi-supplier or multi-country environments
- Structured, proactive approach with the ability to manage scale and complexity
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills internally and externally
