Sea Global are proud to be supporting a key client in the housing sector who are looking to recruit an experienced Procurement professional into the team. This opportunity comes at an exciting time, as the procurement function undergoes significant growth.

This role will lead complex and high-value public sector regulated (PCR2015 & PA23) procurement activity across a broad range of categories and projects. They are seeking an experienced public sector procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys influencing stakeholders, and wants to contribute to building a modern, high-performing procurement function.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead on complex, high-value procurements from development through to contract award.
  • Manage and lead on full end-to-end tenders.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned to business goals.
  • Provide advice on best practice compliance across Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contract Regulations 2015.
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers, ensuring risk mitigation and sustainable outcomes.
  • Work with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders across the business functions.

Experience & Requirements

  • Experienced in end-to-end procurement and tendering.
  • Highly knowledgeable of public procurement regulations (PCR15/PA23).
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering above threshold procurements using available procedures.
  • Can manage multiple priorities at once and has strong stakeholder management skills.
  • CIPS or working towards (desirable but not essential).
