This is a senior leadership opportunity to join the Executive Management Team and play a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategy, driving business growth, and leading the delivery of compliant procurement solutions for housing providers across the UK.

- Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement function, delivering compliant procurement strategies, Frameworks, DPS and Dynamic Markets across construction, asset management, and professional services.
- Oversee end-to-end public sector procurement activity, ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contracts Regulations.
- Provide strategic procurement advice and support to members, managing complex sourcing projects and contract awards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team while driving continuous improvement, governance, and procurement best practice.
- Build strong relationships with members, stakeholders, and the supply chain to maximise commercial value and service delivery.
- Contribute to business strategy, procurement innovation, and organisational growth as a member of the Executive Management Team, deputising for the COO when required.
Experience & Requirements
- Significant senior procurement leadership experience within the Social Housing, Construction, Asset Management, or a wider Public Sector environment.
- Proven experience delivering complex regulated procurement programmes, frameworks, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of construction procurement, asset management, contract forms, pricing models, and commercial delivery.
- Demonstrable experience leading, developing, and motivating high-performing procurement teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence Executive teams, Boards, members, and external supply chain partners.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Experience developing procurement policies, governance frameworks, and best practice processes.
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience), with significant relevant procurement and commercial leadership experience.
