Sea Containers London is seeking a confident and commercially aware People & Culture Executive with strong Employee Relations experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, is comfortable managing complex ER cases, and can partner effectively with managers while protecting the business and supporting our people.

You will play a key role in delivering operational HR support, with a strong focus on Employee Relations, compliance, and risk management. You will be trusted to manage cases with confidence, provide pragmatic advice to managers, and ensure all processes are legally compliant and aligned with company values. This role is based at Sea Containers London, with regional support required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage low to mid-level ER cases end-to-end, including investigations, disciplinary hearings, grievances, performance management and absence cases
  • Support and coach managers through complex people matters
  • Ensure all cases are managed in line with employment law and ACAS best practice
  • Draft investigation reports, outcome letters and formal documentation
  • Support senior stakeholders with risk-based advice
  • Escalate high-risk cases appropriately
  • Manage onboarding and probation processes
  • Oversee Right to Work compliance and visa tracking
  • Coordinate exits and ensure compliant offboarding
  • Maintain accurate records in Workday
  • Produce ER and people metrics reports
  • Support audits and compliance reviews
  • Champion engagement initiatives and team activities
  • Own engagement calendar and benefits promotion
  • Support internal development and training initiatives
About You
  • You will be confident, resilient and comfortable operating in a busy hospitality setting.
  • Proven experience managing Employee Relations cases independently
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law
  • Experience drafting formal documentation (investigation reports, outcome letters, settlement discussions etc.)
  • Ability to influence and challenge managers constructively
  • High emotional intelligence and discretion
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards)
  • Hospitality or multi-site experience
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders
  • Confidence handling sensitive or high-risk cases
