About the Role
As Head Bartender, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the bar, inspiring and developing your team, and ensuring every drink and every guest experience reflects the high standards of Sea Containers Restaurant. The Head Bartender works closely with the restaurant management team to drive performance, maintain exceptional service standards, and contribute to the continued success of our beverage programme.
What You'll Do
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing bar team.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences with confidence and personality.
- Maintain consistently high standards of cocktail preparation, presentation, and service.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
- Create staff training programmes and support the development of junior bartenders.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the restaurant and kitchen teams to deliver seamless service.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal cocktails, menu development, and special events.

We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Head Bartender, Bar Manager, or Senior Bartender in a premium hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing others.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and premium beverages.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary
£13.91 p/h + service charge (extremely competitive) + benefits
