We are seeking a Recognition and Benefits Assistant to join our team based from our Head Office in London Bridge.
This role includes travelling to other Southeastern sites across the network as required and has hybrid working with the option to work up to 2 days a week at home based on business needs.

Reporting to the Recognition and Benefits Manager, your role will be to manage and streamline the administration processes of the HR recognition programs, employee benefits and any other related processes.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Administering the Companys reward schemes, ensuring vouchers are stored, issued and recorded in accordance with Company procedures and all nominations are followed through to conclusion to enable employees to be rewarded in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the organisation of award ceremonies for long service, retirements and reward schemes including preparation of all speech material and gifts.
- Undertaking the administration of any new company benefits schemes that are available to eligible employees.
- Being responsible for the running and administration of the flexible benefit scheme, ensuring new entrants receive relevant information and providing advice and application information on taking up the scheme to all eligible Managers.
- Informing payroll of pay adjustments and outstanding balance for leavers
- Undertaking administration for private medical insurance for all eligible Managers, providing general advice.
- Ensuring the timely submittance of information relating to all benefits administered through the Compensation & Benefits function for taxation purposes.
- Managing the interface between the Company and Rail Staff Travel to ensure service levels are maintained and providing up to date information on new entrants, leavers, transfers and change of address.
- Liaising with other TOCs over reciprocal travel arrangements and seeking to begin relations where necessary.
- Being responsible for all Duty travel on the company and other TOC services, maintaining travel document stocks to the appropriate level and ensuring records are up to date and auditable.
- Taking appropriate action with any travel irregularities which are identified and reporting to the relevant individuals.
- Supporting and providing cover for the Recognition and Benefits Manager as required.
The experience youll need
To be considered for this role we recommend you demonstrate the below in your application;
- A good working knowledge of IT systems to include Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to get on with people at all levels
- Extensive administration experience including preparing reports and excellent record keeping skills
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Be highly organised and able to work well under pressure
- Have a flexible and co-operative approach to work
