We're looking for a proactive Warehousing Bureau Coordinator to join a busy import team.

This is a varied position where you'll manage shipments, coordinate customs activities and ensure customers receive a first-class service from start to finish.

The Role Working as part of the import team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of customer shipments while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and service.

You'll liaise with customers, overseas partners and internal departments to keep freight moving efficiently and resolve any issues quickly.

This is a fast-paced role that offers plenty of variety, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively and taking pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities Manage import shipments from pre-shipment through to final delivery.

Arrange cargo movements with overseas offices and origin partners.

Ensure shipment records are accurately maintained within Cargo Wise.

Process and check Bills of Lading and customs documentation.

Complete customs entries accurately and within required deadlines.

Monitor delivery bookings, unbooked reports and clearance status.

Raise customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Liaise with customers to obtain documentation and resolve queries professionally.

Produce customer reports where required.

Identify process improvements and support continuous operational efficiency.

Support colleagues during busy periods, holidays and absences.

Attend customer meetings when required and help identify opportunities to develop existing accounts.

About You To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have: Experience within freight forwarding, import operations or customs.

A strong understanding of customs procedures, warehousing and bonded movements.

Knowledge of Cargo Wise and customs systems such as CNS, Destin8, CDS, ASM or Ricardo.

A good understanding of Bills of Lading, Incoterms and shipping documentation.

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.

A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.

A proactive mindset and the confidence to work using your own initiative.
