Account Manager – Freight Forwarding in Southampton

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing accounts
• Build strong customer relationships at all levels
• Update rate sheets and tariffs as required
• Monitor performance, KPIs and customer deliverables
• Identify opportunities for added value and growth
• Liaise with operations for smooth service delivery
• Support debtor management and query resolution
• Produce and review reports and customer data
• Attend customer visits and internal meetings

About You

• Freight forwarding / logistics experience
• Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset
• Commercially aware and comfortable with admin/detail
• Good problem-solver who builds trust quickly
• Confident working with data and MS Office
• Full UK driving licence
