A leading RoRo company in Southampton is looking to recruit a bright, enthusiastic & keen individual who has had some exposure within the freight & shipping industry. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wishes to learn about all aspects of moving cargo worldwide and to develop their career long-term.
The Role:
You will be responsible for raising job files, updating clients on the progress of their shipments, taking delivery & collection instructions and arranging haulage. You will also be responsible for ensuring all shipping documents are in place, in order and compliant. You will have the opportunity to learn various aspects of the freight business and international trade, allowing you to progress your career.
Essential Criteria:
- Some exposure of working within an imports and/or export environment
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude
- Good IT skills, with an attention to detail
