The Role:
As an Airfreight Forwarder, you will be responsible for the start to finish process of moving import & export shipments by air. You will be commercially minded with a real passion for moving freight & solving problems for time critical cargo (commercial & military arms & equipment).
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Negotiating and booking cargo with airlines / carriers.
- Managing documentation flow, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin & Licences.
- Shipping explosives, weapons & defence equipment.
- Arranging collection / delivery and managing all the way to final destination.
Essential Criteria:
- Import or Export experience (ideally both)
- Commercially minded
- Excellent communication
