The Role:
You will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish both import and exports, handling & co-ordinating international shipments via air, sea, road and courier, liaising with shipping lines, carriers & airlines.
You must be able to build good relationships with clients, handle documentation flow and ensure Customs clearance of goods entering or leaving the UK, ensuring full compliance.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous freight forwarding experience.
- Familiar with shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good customer services skills
- Good IT knowledge
- Positive attitude, Team player and willingness to learn.
