Are you looking for a unique commercial role within the marine sector, encompassing key account management, new business development and social marketing? On behalf of a specialist freight forwarder, we are looking to speak to commercially minded marine professionals who love to build relationships, speak to existing clients, develop new ones, attend boat shows around the world and be the main customer facing ambassador for the company.
The Role
You will attend the various boat shows around the world, promoting the company & building relationships with various marine & boat manufacturers / agents, as well as high net wealth individuals who own / regularly move their boats. The Winchester office has a small friendly team, but certainly a busy, fast-paced & enjoyable environment where you’ll gain full support from the directors who have a wealth of forwarding & business knowledge. Although shipping experience would be beneficial, more importantly is attitude and willingness to learn this side & a keen interest / knowledge base within the marine sector.
Essential Criteria
- A marine background – albeit leisure or commercial
- Commercially minded & proven sales background / ability
- Excellent communication skills
