Do you have experience of managing import and/or export shipments, ideally by air, sea & road? Confident booking cargo with carriers and handling documentation? How about Class 1 Dangerous Goods trained – now that’s a big ask so training can be provided. The Role:
As a Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for the start to finish process of moving import & export shipments by all modes. You will be commercially minded with a real passion for moving freight & solving problems for time critical cargo (commercial & military arms & equipment).
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Negotiating and booking cargo with carriers.
- Managing documentation flow, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin & Licences.
- Shipping explosives, weapons & defence equipment.
- Arranging collection/delivery and managing all the way to final destination.
Essential Criteria:
- Import or Export experience (ideally both)
- Commercially minded
- Excellent communication

For the right candidate our client is looking to pay between £25-35k for the right person along with benefits, company bonus & free parking. Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm.
