Job Description

A well-established freight forwarding company is looking to recruit an experienced Import / Export Freight Forwarder to join their expanding team based in Eastleigh.

If you have previous freight forwarding experience, ideally import & export by air, sea & road and looking to progress your career then this could be the role for you.

The

Role: As an Import & Export Freight Forwarder you will be responsible for managing shipments from initial quotation and then from start to finish including booking cargo onto carriers, managing all paperwork including raising Bills of Lading, and ensuring all Customs procedures are adhered to and the goods are cleared Customs.

You will be actively involved in import & export shipments, by all modes of transport.

You won't only be moving containerised cargo but will also be actively involved in project and out of gauge cargo - so certainly a challenging & varied role.
