This role is with a large, expanding specialist shipping business based near Southampton. If successful in this role you will be responsible for managing the company's container fleet to maximise profitability while minimising avoidable costs. This involves precise planning and proactive engagement with key stakeholders to ensure efficient container utilisation.
The role requires strong leadership to guide the Container Team in optimising container turnaround and addressing supply chain bottlenecks. Key responsibilities include:
- Fleet management
- Overseeing leasing and purchasing agreements
