Our client provides international logistics & supply chain services to a wide customer base, from large retailers to SMEs. The company is looking to add to their commercial team in Portsmouth.
As well as growing existing customer accounts & building on relationships, you will be responsible for identifying & securing new business, targeting a varied client base.
The Role:
In this role you will have full responsibility for identifying potential customers, approaching & tendering, and ultimately bringing new business onboard, whilst managing a sales pipeline. You will be set goals & targets and will develop strategic plans for business growth, researching new, markets customers & preparing presentations.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous logistics / 3PL experience
- Proven sales / commercial background
- Full driving licence
- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service and IT skills
