We are looking for a Procurement Professional to join our team and take ownership of end-to-end sourcing activities that support our business objectives. In this role, you will play a key part in securing high-quality IT outsourcing resources, managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and delivering sustainable value across the organization while ensuring compliance with Samsung SDS procurement policies and global procurement standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure category (sub-categories) strategy is aligned and deployed alongside SDS global procurement guide.
  • Complete end to end procurement system processing for agency contractors sourcing within the tight time windows, ensuring accuracy, compliance and minimal processing delays.
  • Manage supplier spend, supplier contracts, supplier performance and relationship.
  • Initiate, execute and manage both simple and complex RFx.
  • Negotiate and finalize supplier contracts to achieve the best possible commercial outcome.
  • Drive supplier performance improvement in key areas of cost, delivery and quality.
  • Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential disruption in the supply chain.
  • Support internal/external audit compliance.
  • Escalate issues to procurement Head of Group if support needed.
  • Weekly progress report on key procurement projects.
  • Ad hoc procurement related tasks assigned.

Requirements

  • Essential: Minimum Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum 4-5 year work experience in procurement, supply chain management and/or IT industry.
  • Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluent in English Language to work with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Desirable: Familiar with ERP system e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics etc.
  • Minimum CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate or CIPS Level 4 Diploma Certificate held or willing to study to be qualified.

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5-hour week.
