Care Worker / Personal Assistant
Hours
2x 40 (FT) and 2x 26 (PT) hours per week (Mix of day and night shifts, day hours will differ during term time)
Rate of Pay
£13.45 per hour Gross (note: must meet Scottish Living Wage as a minimum amount)
Description
4 Personal Assistants / Care Workers are required to join a team caring for a 16‑year‑old daughter with complex care needs. The family is looking for people who are reliable, willing to learn new things, flexible, trustworthy, good at communication and able to work in a team.
Tasks
- Assisting with gastrostomy feeding
- Assisting with oral care/suctioning
- Assisting with bathing
- Assisting with accessing activities in the community
- Any other duties commensurate with the role of Care Worker / Personal Assistant
Full training will be provided as well as NHS certification.
Requirements
Applicants must have a membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) and be willing to share this information with the employer.
