Description: We are seeking a caring, reliable, and proactive personal assistant to support in a quiet household for a couple, one of whom is a disabled female and the other works full-time. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, as this is a low‑activity environment with a client who is often unwell. This role involves personal care assistance and support in the household. A driving licence and own transport is essential as no local public transport is available.
Tasks:
- Support the management of medical supplies
- Assisting the Person with ordering, organising and managing medications
- Assisting with personal hygiene and dressing
- Assisting the person to attend to meal preparation and food shopping
- Assisting Person to attend to keeping the kitchen and fridge clean and tidy
- Assisting the Person to attend to general household tasks
- Assisting to access activities in the community
- Assisting the Person to attend to care of their pet dog
- Any other duties commensurate with the role of Care Worker / Personal Assistant
Requirements: Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or be willing to join this scheme.
