Overview
Post: Care Worker / Personal Assistant
Hours: 32 Hours per week (Shift pattern 9am-5pm or 5pm-10pm; Weekend work will be required)
Location: Falkirk
Rate of Pay: £13 per hour
Description
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Personal Assistants to support a young woman who lives independently in her own home in Falkirk. She is fun, sociable, and enjoys an active lifestyle. In her free time, she loves going to the cinema (especially horror films), the theatre, bowling, museums, and visits to the countryside with her dog.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living support
- Administer medication as required (training to be provided)
- Support with gastrostomy feeding
- Assisting the Supported Person with postural management, moving & handling
- Carry out suctioning when required (experience advantageous but not essential, training will be provided)
- Support and encourage the supported person in accessing and participating in social activities

- Experience in health & social care (advantageous but not essential – full training provided)
- A valid driving licence (essential)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or be willing to join this scheme.
