Support Worker & Senior Support Worker – Supported Living (Complex Needs)

Location: Worthing & Lancing, West Sussex

Salary: Β£13.85 – Β£14.75 per hour

Hours: Full Time & Part Time | Day & Night Shifts Available

Driving licence required for day roles (held 1+ year)

We are looking for caring, patient and resilient Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to join our specialist supported living services in Worthing and Lancing, supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs.

This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will be supporting individuals to develop new skills, overcome challenges, access their community and achieve personal goals that are important to them.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support that helps individuals live as independently as possible. Your day may include:
    • Building trusting relationships and providing consistent support
    • Supporting individuals with daily routines and developing life skills
    • Encouraging independence, confidence and personal choice
    • Supporting access to activities and the local community
    • Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes
    • Working alongside colleagues, families and professionals to provide high-quality support
  • For Senior Support Workers, you will also:
    • Provide guidance and support to colleagues
    • Take a lead role during shifts
    • Support the delivery of care plans and risk assessments
    • Help maintain excellent standards of care and practice
    • Act as a positive role model within the team

About you

You may already have experience in:

  • Autism support
  • Learning disabilities
  • Supported living
  • Residential care
  • Mental health support
  • Complex needs
  • Behaviour support

We are looking for people who are:

Experience in supported living, autism, learning disabilities, mental health or complex needs is beneficial but not essential. Your values and attitude matter most.
