We are recruiting a Senior Care Assistant (Medication Trained) to join our dedicated night team at St Georges Residential Care Home in Worthing. This is a key senior role within a small, supportive 26-bed elderly care home, where you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality care and supporting residents throughout the night. Your Role as Senior Care Assistant (Night Shift)
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital leadership role within the night team, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care throughout the night. You will take responsibility for guiding care delivery and supporting the team when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care throughout night shifts
- Administer medication safely (trained Senior Care Assistant)
- Carry out regular welfare checks to ensure resident safety and comfort
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
- Maintain dignity, independence, and respect for all residents
- Complete accurate records and handover documentation
- Support and guide Care Assistants on shift
- Ensure safe and consistent overnight care delivery
