Registered Manager – St George’s Lodge Residential Care Home
Location: Worthing, West Sussex
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per year (depending on experience)
Bonus: Performance-based bonus scheme
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus on-call

We are seeking an inspiring Registered Manager to lead our 26-bed residential care home in Worthing, providing a warm, professional, and high-quality service to residents and their families.
The Opportunity
This is more than a management role — it’s about purpose, vision, and heart. You will lead with confidence, compassion, and professionalism, shaping a culture where outstanding care is delivered every day.
You will:
- Bring strong clinical understanding, emotional intelligence, and leadership capability
- Lead, develop, and motivate a committed care team
- Collaborate with peer managers across the group
- Work closely with Directors to drive quality and improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day home operations and champion excellence in care
- Ensure compliance with CQC, Care Act 2014, MCA, and DoLS
- Promote dignity, independence, and safety for all residents
- Inspire and develop staff through clear leadership and support
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals
About You
- Experienced care home leader with a track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of adult social care regulations
- Excellent communicator who leads by example
- Values-driven, compassionate, and resilient
