About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and caring Kitchen Assistant to join our supportive team. No previous care home kitchen experience is required. What matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and pride in delivering high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with basic food preparation and meal service
- Supporting residents with dietary requirements, including modified meals
- Serving meals with care and attention
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
- Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Receiving and storing deliveries correctly
- Following food safety, infection control, and health & safety procedures
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
