Salary: £13.45 per hour + Weekend Enhancement

Location: Worthing, West Sussex

Hours: 16.5 hours per week (Monday–Wednesday, 08:30–14:00)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and caring Kitchen Assistant to join our supportive team. No previous care home kitchen experience is required. What matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and pride in delivering high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with basic food preparation and meal service
  • Supporting residents with dietary requirements, including modified meals
  • Serving meals with care and attention
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
  • Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
  • Receiving and storing deliveries correctly
  • Following food safety, infection control, and health & safety procedures
  • Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
