Location: St Georges Lodge, Worthing

Salary: £13.45 per hour + Weekend enhancement

Hours: 10 hours per week (Saturday & Sunday) with flexible start times

Join our friendly team at St Georges Lodge. St Georges Lodge is a welcoming 26-bed residential care home in Worthing, where we are committed to providing high-quality care in a warm, homely environment. We believe that a clean, comfortable home is an essential part of our residents' wellbeing, and we're looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to help us maintain those high standards. This is a permanent weekend position working 10 hours per week across Saturday and Sunday, with flexible start times. There will also be opportunities to work additional hours to cover annual leave and staff absence, making this an ideal role for someone looking for extra flexibility.

The Role

  • As a Housekeeper, you'll be responsible for creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors and colleagues.
  • Your duties will include:
    • Cleaning residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
    • Ensuring excellent hygiene and infection prevention practices are followed.
    • Maintaining a tidy, pleasant and homely environment throughout the home.
    • Following health and safety procedures at all times.
    • Working closely with the care and management team to support residents' wellbeing.
    • Assisting with additional housekeeping duties as required.

About You

  • We're looking for someone who:
    • Takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
    • Has excellent attention to detail.
    • Is reliable, organised and able to work independently.
    • Enjoys working as part of a friendly team.
    • Is flexible and willing to work additional hours to cover holidays and occasional staff absence.
    • Previous housekeeping, domestic or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
