Looking for a rewarding care job where you can truly make a difference? We are recruiting Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants for day shifts in a calm, homely environment. Full training provided – experience is helpful but not essential for care assistant roles. Join our friendly, supportive team at a small 26-bed residential care home in Worthing - St Georges Lodge, where every resident is known as an individual and care is genuinely personal.
Available Roles
- Care Assistant – Day Shift £13.45 per hour + weekend enhancements 24 - 36 hours per week (fixed rolling rota)
- Senior Care Assistant (Medication Trained) £13.85 per hour + weekend enhancements 36 hours per week
Your Role
Care Assistant responsibilities include:
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with mobility and wellbeing checks
- Supporting residents living with dementia
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Working as part of a supportive care team
Senior Care Assistant responsibilities include:
- Leading shifts and supporting the care team
- Administering medication
- Updating care plans and records
- Liaising with families and healthcare professionals
- Supporting and mentoring staff
- Promoting high standards of person-centred care
