Looking for a role where you can lead, inspire and make a genuine difference? We're looking for a passionate Team Leader to join our specialist Autism & Learning Disabilities service in Woolston. This is more than just a leadership role. The Role
As Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of the service, providing day-to-day leadership and ensuring the people we support receive high-quality, person-centred support. Your role will include:
- Leading shifts and supporting the staff team.
- Promoting independence, choice, dignity and positive outcomes.
- Supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities.
- Providing guidance and coaching to Support Workers.
- Supporting individuals who may experience behaviours of distress.
- Ensuring medication administration and care documentation are completed accurately.
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, quality and compliance.
- Working alongside the Registered and Deputy Manager to continuously improve the service.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or similar role.
- Has experience supporting people with autism and learning disabilities.
- Is confident supporting behaviours of distress and complex needs.
- Can motivate, guide and develop a team.
- Is calm, resilient and able to remain positive under pressure.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
- Experience of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and safeguarding procedures is highly desirable.
