We’re looking for compassionate and experienced Care Assistants to join our friendly teams at Downs House and Stroud House Residential Care Homes. If you have hands-on care experience and are passionate about supporting older people, including those living with dementia, we’d love to hear from you. Available Roles
- Care Assistants peripatetic roles - Downs House & Stroud House: 24 hours per week – £13.70 per hour + weekend enhancements (Drivers required)
- Care Assistant - Stroud House Nights: 24 hours per week - £13.70 per hour + weekend enhancements
- Care Assistants - Downs House Days: 36 - 42 hours per week - £13.70 per hour + weekend enhancements
Your Role
As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents to live happy, comfortable and fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and support with daily living
- Building meaningful relationships through companionship and emotional support
- Supporting mobility, wellbeing and independence
- Caring for residents living with dementia and complex needs
- Completing accurate care records
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
About Our Homes
Downs House is a welcoming 46-bed residential care home in Petersfield, providing high-quality, person-centred care in a calm and supportive environment. Stroud House is a specialist 25-bed residential care home supporting older people, including those living with complex dementia, in a warm and homely setting.
