Hours: 14 hours per week, Saturday and Sundays

About the role
We are looking for a Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team, working on Saturdays and Sundays to support the smooth running of our care home. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys maintaining high standards, supporting residents’ dignity, and contributing to a caring environment.
As our Weekend Laundry Assistant, you will:
- Wash, dry, iron, and fold residents’ clothing and home linen
- Ensure laundry is correctly labelled and returned to residents
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the laundry area
- Work closely with care staff to meet residents’ needs
- Follow infection control, health & safety, and COSHH procedures
Who We Are Looking For
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Caring and respectful with residents’ dignity in mind
- Willing to follow health & safety, infection control, and COSHH procedures
- Previous laundry or care home experience is desirable but not essential
