About Us
SDR Living provides short term accommodation and support for local families and individuals that find themselves homeless, on behalf of several East Sussex local authorities. We already have a reputation for providing a high standard of welfare support.
The Opportunity
We\’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our Weekend Receptionist team at a housing and support service in Eastbourne. The role can be challenging, requiring empathy, professionalism, and the ability to support residents with complex needs toward greater independence, while maintaining strong professional boundaries. While experience is preferred, training is available for those with the right attitude. This is a chance to make a real difference in people\’s lives.
Consistent & Predictable Schedule:
- Hours: 12 hours per week
- Set shift: Saturday, 09:00 – 21:00
- Willingness and ability to cover overtime as needed.

Who We Are Looking For:
- Assist in the delivery of a reception service to our residents
- Implement night security systems, ensuring the overall safety and security of the scheme
- Meet the requirements of health and safety policies and practices
- Someone who is calm under pressure, excellent at communication and can effectively deal with anti-social behaviour
