Night Support Worker – Complex Needs
Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex
Salary: £13.85 per hour
Hours: 35.88 hours per week (rolling night rota Monday - Sunday)

Are you an experienced Support Worker with a background in autism, complex needs?
SDR is opening a brand-new, highly personalised specialist support service in Eastbourne for a young individual with autism, ADHD, a learning disability, and complex emotional needs.
We are looking for calm, compassionate and resilient professionals who can provide consistent overnight support, promote wellbeing, and help maintain a safe and structured environment.
This is not a generic support role. It is a small, highly focused service where relationships, consistency and skilled support make a genuine difference.
About the Role
As a Night Support Worker, you will provide high-quality overnight support, ensuring the individual feels safe, comfortable and supported throughout the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing person-centred overnight support.
- Promoting a calm and reassuring environment.
- Completing regular welfare checks and responding to support needs.
- Following Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and personalised care plans.
- Completing accurate records and handovers.
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure continuity of care.

✔ Calm, patient and emotionally resilient.
✔ Confident following Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches.
✔ Reliable, consistent and able to work independently during night shifts.
✔ Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
✔ Excellent communicators who work well within a team.
