SDR Living are looking for an organised, proactive and values-led HMO & Lettings Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our accommodation services across two housing sites in Eastbourne and Hastings. This is a varied and rewarding management role combining hands-on operational management, resident welfare, compliance, property oversight and team leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring our residents live in safe, well-managed and supportive environments while leading a multi-disciplinary onsite team.

We are looking for somebody who has a good attention to detail, is highly organised and passionate about creating positive environments for residents and staff alike.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of two housing sites
  • Take a hands-on role in delivery of the service, supporting departments to meet objectives
  • Lead and support teams including reception, maintenance, housekeeping and night staff
  • Ensure properties remain safe, compliant and well maintained
  • Coordinate tenancy management and support occupancy levels
  • Work closely with residents, local authorities and support agencies
  • Manage resident welfare concerns, safeguarding matters and house rule breaches appropriately
  • Oversee property inspections and compliance processes
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance alongside the Property Manager
  • Support smooth move-ins, move-outs and room turnaround processes
  • Monitor operational standards, licensing, tenancies, reporting and record keeping
  • Help develop and improve housing services and operational processes

  • Experience in housing, homelessness, supported accommodation, social housing or property management
