Hours: 24 hours per week (12-hour shifts, days and nights on a rota basis)
Join SDR at Patcham Nursing Home. We are recruiting compassionate and dedicated Nurses to join our friendly team at Patcham Nursing Home in Brighton, including opportunities within our night team. Patcham Nursing Home is a welcoming 30-bed residential and nursing home, providing high-quality, person-centred care in a calm and supportive environment. Each resident has a private en-suite room, supporting dignity, comfort, and independence. This is a great opportunity for a compassionate Nurse who wants to work in a stable, well-supported home where residents are truly known as individuals. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care across day and night shifts
- Administer medications, including controlled drugs, safely and accurately
- Carry out clinical assessments, wound care, and ongoing health monitoring
- Update care plans and maintain accurate clinical records
- Respond to changes in residents’ condition and escalate when required
- Provide palliative and end-of-life care with dignity and compassion
- Liaise with GPs, district nurses, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Support and guide care staff to ensure high standards of care
- Ensure a safe, calm, and well-managed environment at all times

Who We’re Looking For
- A qualified Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC registration
- Previous experience in a nursing or care home setting is desirable
- Confident in administering medication
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to high standards of care
