Join SDR Care as an HR & Recruitment Assistant. We are looking for a warm, organised and people‑focused HR & Recruitment Assistant to join our growing HR team at SDR. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, supporting others and being part of a values‑led company where people genuinely matter. You’ll play a key role in supporting recruitment onboarding and core HR processes, helping ensure our teams are well supported so they can deliver outstanding person‑centred care. About the Role
As our HR & Recruitment Assistant you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of recruitment and HR processes across the organisation, working closely with the HR Manager, HR Advisor and Recruitment Advisor. This is a support and administrative role helping ensure tasks are completed accurately, information is well maintained and people receive a positive experience throughout recruitment and employment processes.
Responsibilities
- Supporting recruitment activity including advertising, shortlisting, interview arrangements and candidate communication
- Supporting onboarding and pre‑employment checks such as DBS, Right to Work references and occupational health
- Preparing contracts and HR documentation using agreed templates
- Maintaining accurate records on HR and recruitment systems
- Supporting HR colleagues with administrative tasks and projects
You’ll work within clear processes, follow guidance from the HR team, escalate issues appropriately and handle sensitive information with care and professionalism.
