We are seeking an experienced Metrology Engineer to join our clients Operations Team on a 6-month contract basis. This is a fully site-based role supporting precision measurement, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities across production and operational processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of products through robust metrology practices, detailed inspections, and effective collaboration with engineering, quality, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operational measurement requirements including moulding validations, in-process inspections, and non-conformance investigations.
  • Program and operate Zeiss CMM equipment using Calypso software.
  • Request and support required fixturing and perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
  • Collaborate closely with Verification Services teams to support qualification transitions from operational qualification to production qualification.
  • Conduct precise measurements of products and components using a variety of metrology tools and equipment.
  • Inspect products and components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Analyse measurement data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
