Toolroom Engineer required for 12-month contract, within the Operations Team, focusing on aligning the role with agile practices, industry standards, and project plans.
Objectives:
- To work within a busy Tool Room, providing support to all areas of Production and Mould Shop.
Main responsibilities include:
- Set up and operate equipment including CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Grinders and tool room machining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and fit quality parts for production jigs, fixtures and tooling.
- Inspect work visually or with appropriate measuring tools.
- Perform applicable tool, jig and fixtures repair and maintenance – both preventative and responsive.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Support daily production as required.
Details:
- Based full time on site in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire with other members of the Toolroom team.
- Working hours: Mon to Thurs 7:10/7:55 to 16:10/16:55, Fri 7:10/7:55 to 12:10/12:55 - Flexible.
- Duration of Contract: 12 months.
- Proposed Start Date: ASAP.
