We are looking for an experienced Procurement Project Manager to act as the strategic procurement lead across projects, managing supplier selection, sourcing, contracting, cost control, and risk management from project start through to series production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main procurement interface for Project Managers
  • Define and manage procurement work packages across single and multi-category projects
  • Lead supplier scouting, selection, RFx processes, and contracting
  • Develop and execute the project sourcing plan
  • Drive optimal BOM cost, quality, and availability (TCO approach)
  • Contribute to Make-or-Buy decisions and influence design based on procurement constraints
  • Monitor component costs and supplier performance throughout the project
  • Coordinate PPAP and supplier qualification activities
  • Ensure alignment between project strategy and category strategy

Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with Project Management, Category Managers, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, and external suppliers while maintaining strict confidentiality of procurement and project strategies.

Experience & Skills

  • Background in engineering or business, with strong experience in Strategic Procurement or Supply Chain
  • Proven supplier management experience in a global industrial environment
  • Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with RFx processes, contracts, and cost management
  • Proficient in MS Office; SAP preferred
  • Fluent English; French or German is a plus
