Development Test Engineer β Outside IR35
We are looking for an experienced Development Test Engineer for an initial 12-month contract to support the planning, execution and reporting of Verification & Validation (V&V) activities within our clients engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan V&V activities.
- Create Test Plans, Test Protocols, Test Cases and Test Methods.
- Support test execution, anomaly management and reporting.
- Create and maintain test documentation and reporting templates.
- Review Test Plans, Test Results and technical documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies.
Skills & Experience
- Good understanding of software behaviour and development.
- Understanding of control/command systems and physical/mechanical processes.
- Knowledge of qualification and statistical methods, including MSA and Six Sigma.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Experience with tools such as Polarion, Jira or Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
- Good reporting skills using Excel, Power Point and similar tools.
- Basic understanding of scripting/pseudo-code such as Python, VBA or HTML.
