Job Description
SDL Solutions Limited is seeking a
Business Analyst for an initial 12-month contract who can turn complex product ideas into clear, actionable software requirements.
You’ll own the
Azure Dev Ops backlog , ensure seamless traceability to Polarion , and help the team deliver value-driven software features — from embedded systems to automation platforms.
- What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain a structured software backlog in Azure Dev Ops.
- Translate product vision and legacy requirements into Features and User Stories.
- Define clear acceptance criteria and capture non-functional requirements.
- Create and document traceability between Azure Dev Ops and Polarion.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to refine and plan work.
- Analyze URS and legacy materials to guide feature definition.
- What You’ll Bring
- At least 6+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in software development.
- Strong skills in Azure Dev Ops backlog management.
- Familiarity with or quick learning ability in Polarion.
- Proven ability to write clear, implementation-agnostic requirements.
- Excellent written English and attention to detail.
- Self-starter mindset — organized, analytical, and independent.
- Nice to Have
- Experience in embedded systems, industrial automation, or OPC UA.
- Understanding of regulated software traceability (e. g., Gx P, GAMP).
- Tools: Azure Dev Ops (primary), Polarion (secondary)
