What you’ll be doing: This is a hands-on role at the heart of our branch. You’ll be serving customers on the counter and over the phone, understanding what they need, finding the right parts and making sure they leave happy. You’ll work closely with the logistics team to keep orders moving and help keep the branch running smoothly every day. Who we’re looking for: You don’t need motor factor experience - we’ll train you. We’re looking for someone who:
- Communicates well and enjoys talking to customers
- Can pick up systems quickly
- Has an interest in cars/mechanics or previous experience in sales/advice work
- Stays calm under pressure
- Brings a positive, reliable, "team-first" attitude
Experience with MAM or similar software is helpful, but not essential.
Training & progression: Every new starter begins with our SDL Sales Academy, where you’ll learn everything you need to do the job with confidence. You’ll spend time at our Academy of Excellence in Clay Cross, meet the teams who support the branches, and get hands-on product and systems training. We promote people based on attitude and performance, not how long they’ve been here. For example: Jordan joined with no experience and is now a Branch Supervisor; Hannah moved from retail and is now a Senior Sales Advisor. Your progression is genuinely in your hands.
